    Designing the kitchen and Interior Decorating

    The kitchen of the house has done it’s duty throughout the years but was looking tired and needed to be more practical. My client has a big family and a large group of friends, so a nice big island bench where they could gather around was very welcome and looks inviting too. Whilst designing the kitchen I considered the daily use, required storage, more kitchen bench top and traffic flow. The outcome was a true ‘dream’ kitchen and a very happy client.

    The beautiful cabinetry and black stone bench top really compliments the dining area and gives a modern feel to the house. The handmade Portuguese tiles add texture to the kitchen.

The kitchen is a dream come true, all that we wanted and more.  From a kitchen with limited functionality, now transformed to such a workable, light filled and spacious area, and beautifully decorated.  Our lounge is now the real heart of our home, making the most of the natural light, an area where you truly relax with a beautiful ambiance, soft colours and lighting, and so welcoming to all who visit.  Maartje working with us has transformed our lifestyles in an incredibly positive manner and we would have absolutely have no hesitation in recommending her services to anyone looking to modernise and enhance their existing or new home.

    When I arrived home from a short trip away I couldn’t believe my eyes as I entered my room. It was if I had walked into a different home and instantly fell in love. Everything was so thought out and specialised to suit my needs. The colours and ornaments fit my personality perfectly and the extra space created a completely new and open feel. I look forward to spending time in my room these days and love the simplicity in cleaning it up and maintaining my new beautiful space.
